Madhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actress who is famous for her roles in films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Haiin Koun..! Her career began in the her twenties. Her role as Anil Kapoor in Tezaab earned her an enormous amount of attention. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. In Mumbai where she grew up, she was in a household of middle-class parents. From a very early age, she began to study dance. She ventured into acting as an infant and struggled for several years because most of her initial films ended up being flops. She found fame and became one of India's leading film actors. She took a hiatus from her profession following her wedding, before returning into the entertainment business. Dixit played an important role in Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit received 15 nominations at the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of these.
